[Bristol-Birds] Good Birds at Mossy Creek in Jefferson City. from, Shane Adams

Birders: ( Good Birds at Mossy Creek in Jefferson City )

This afternoon on June 26, 2004 I have spend 2 hours birdwatching at Mossy 
Creek in Jefferson City and I saw good birds in 2 hours at the two Viewing 
Blinds at Mossy Creek here are the list of birds I saw today : I was using my 
60 x 60 BSA Deerhunting Spotting Scope viewing the birds.

Viewing Blind 1:

Large Flocks of Red-Winged BlackBirds

Large Flocks of Blue-Winged Teals with there young Blue-Winged Teals ( in front 
of Viewing Blind 2 )

2 Great Blue Herons ( also in front Viewing Blind 2 )

Viewing Blind 2:

Orchard Oriole ( Female / my first sighting this year )

2 Belted KingFishers ( Male & Female )

Eastern Kingbird

Lots of Turtles ( sunnying them selves / also in front of Viewing Blind 1 )
