Birders:( Golden Crowned Kinglet in Brockland Acres & Hamblen County )
Today on Nov. 6, 2006 I saw Golden Crowned Kinglet and recorded also first
sighting this year in our backyard in Brockland Acres in Hamblen County
NorthEast of Morristown and also this lower elevation as well this year maybe
Don Miller can check the record of the Golden Crowned Kinglet for Hamblen
County. / here is a quick note on the posting yesterday that I forgot the
Sparrows , the Warbler or Vireo at Mossy Creek Wildlife Viewing Area in
Jefferson City was in the brush thicket left or right of the sidewalk going to
the Viewing Blind 1 or walking towards the parking lot also about 30+ or more
Cedar Waxwings in the tree in back of marsh where the ducks land and heading
either directions from the Viewing Blind and standing facing the lonely tree
and also the water spinklers are and finally here some birds at the Cherokee
Dam also in Jefferson City and between Grainger County side that I also forgot
and they are: Eastern Phoebe ( heard not seen ), Pied Billed Grebe, Yellow
Bellied Sapsucker, and a possible ( Ringed Neck Ducks or "" Jacks "", Scoters,
or Double Crested Cormorants, they where to far away to see with the binculars
and spotting scope and I lost sight of them at the last moment ) and I will be
checking these same locations from now until Nov. 27 for migrating waterfowl
and give the birdwatchers and update. and I will try to get a picture of Golden
Crowned Kinglet soon if it stays around longer.
