TN Nature Conservancy's
Gabby Call set to present
BBC Banquet program.
With a little over a week remaining
before Bristol Bird Club members and
guest from across the region turn out
for the club's annual event, Gabby and
the BBC leadership have everything in
place.
She will bring a PowerPoint program
about the work of the Conservancy
and one of the organization's top
North Carolina employees. His name
is Merrill Lynch and he is an active
birder in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
Rev. Lloyd Jones of the Addilynn Memorial United Methodist Church has
announced that women of the church have their menu planned. He
said they will serve stuffed chicken, roast beef with gravy, mashed
potatoes with cheese, green bean salad and a layered pineapple cake.
A variety of drinks will be available.
Lloyd says he is looking forward to seeing all of his friends from the
Bristol Bird Club and will be present for both the dinner and the program.
He says he is inviting former BBC President Jane Fleenor to attend.
She is a biology teacher at John Battle High School just north of Bristol.
The banquet is open to birders other than BBC members. Everyone
attending the event, whether coming for dinner or just the program,
must pay the $13 banquet fee which covers the entire event.
Everyone attending needs to sign up in advance with a reservation
made with BBC President Dave Worley at dave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The banquet will be at 7 pm on Sept. 19th at the Addilynn Memorial United
Methodist Church in Bristol, TN. Cost is $13 per person. The ladies
of the church will take care of everything.
