On Wednesday, Nov. 20, I stopped at the Erwin Fishery Park pond in Erwin, TN,
at about 5:30 p.m. An American Wigeon and two Gadwalls were new arrivals. Also
present were maybe two dozen Wood Ducks and a lesser number of Mallards.

On Thursday, Nov. 21, I stopped at the pond at about 9 a.m. Two Gadwall were
still present as well as a Ring-necked Duck drake.

Great pond for getting some upclose view of migrating waterfowl. Except for a
Green-winged Teal drake that has come and gone for the past few weeks, these
are the first notable waterfowl stopovers I've recorded this fall at the pond.
