[Bristol-Birds] Elizabethton Bird Club picnic

The Lee and Lois Herndon Chapter of T.O.S., alias the Elizabethton Bird Club, will hold its annual picnic 6:00 pm on Saturday, July 12, 2008, at the Rotary Park in Johnson City, TN on North Broadway Street opposite the Optimist Soccer Complex. All local birders and friends are invited. You can get there by taking Interstate 26 Exit 22, then going east on Watauga Ave. to North Broadway Street, turning left and going about 5 blocks. Look for the Rotary Park entrance on your left. We will be using the Wallace Pavillion, which is the first pavilion on the right as you enter the gate.
The Elizabethton Club and members will provide pork BBQ sandwiches, drinks, covered dishes and desserts. Come prepared to eat and enjoy one anothers' company.
