The Herndon bird club field trip, Saturday, February 23, turned up a few nice 
birds
with two Great Egrets just below the Wilcox Bridge along the South Fork Holston
River in Kingsport, TN and great and sustained looks at the albino Red-tailed 
Hawk
which has been hanging out at Fordtown near Colonial Heights for nearly three
years. Also had the Spotted Sandpiper and a Pintail at Riverfront Reasturant in
Kingsport.
