[Bristol-Birds] ETSU Redpollers - Birding across Tennessee

Last week, February 22-25, a group of eight ornithology students led by Dr. Fred Alsop left Johnson City and travelled to Reelfoot Lake. The group listed 100 species including over 20 Bald Eagles and got to see and hear the flight display of the American Woodcock. The highlight of the trip was on the way back, after a stop at Paris Landing State Park, getting to see the Common Redpoll at Hohenwald thanks to Bill Pulliam. The group included JoAnn Alsop, Kevin Burchett, Darrell Chapman, Sam Boyd, Dale Ledford, Ken McDonald, Jennifer Corde, Benjamin Whitt, and Bill Grigsby.
