As I was preparing breakfast this am, a dark form swooped over my house =
and landed in the back yard. A Red-tailed hawk had captured a squirrel =
for breakfast. It spread its wings over the squirrel, then after a =
couple of minutes, flew away with the squirrel into one of the tall oaks =
of the neighborhood.
On a calmer note, the local 4-5 bluebirds are eating berries of the =
barberry shrubs in my yard.
