[Bristol-Birds] Douglas Lake Peregrine

Upper Douglas Lake, between Walters Bridge & Leadvale; Cocke county
 
Launched canoe from Walters boat ramp and headed east late in the day.  We noticed that shorebirds were few & far between, then spotted a small peregrine falcon. 
 
Also seen:
Wood duck (62 - flying out of the woods after sunset)
Blue-winged teal (8)
Mallard (5)
American white pelican (30th day of mingling with the great egrets)
Double-crested cormorant (28)
Great Blue heron (27)
Great egret (180)
Black-crowned night-heron (19 - most flew over in a tight flock) 
Peregrine falcon
Semipalmated plover
Greater yellowlegs
Least sandpiper (13)
Stilt sandpiper (sitting on the ground - thought we had a curlew)
Great horned owl
