I have had a nest of nut hatches in a box at home which had been feeding
until a few days ago. There were two small babies. Yesterday I checked the
box to find an adult bird dead on the nest.
This is a box that I had the same thing happen to a blue bird two years ago.
For years it had been invaded by black snakes (one year Iremoved five). For the
last fouror five years I have used "Snake Away". Could there be a connection
between the dead birds and the substance? Any suggestions?
