[Bristol-Birds] Cumberland Trip Results

Nine Bristol Bird Club Members (Lisa Tyler, Audrey Abernathy, Lois Cox, 
Wilma Boy, John Hay, Polly Moyle and John Moyle) spent last weekend birding at 
Obed Scenic and Wild River, Frozen Head Wilderness Area, Norris Dam, Cove 
Lake, Royal Blue and Cumberland Gap.  Our list totaled 83 birds, one 
Copperhead, a Red Eft, Snapping Turtle, several frogs, 4 Alpacas, deer, 
squirrels and 
lots of I. D.ed butterflies.  The scenery (great vistas), lodging and food 
were woderful as was the camaraderie.  Here is the trip avian list:  Canada

one time), Eastern Wood-pewee, Acadian Flycatcher, Eastern Phoebe, Great 
Crested Woodpecker, Eastern Kingbird, White-eyed Vireo, Yellow-throated Vireo, 
Blue-headed Vireo, Red-eyed Vireo, Blue Jay, American Crow, Tree Swallow, 
Northern Rough-winged Swallow, Cliff Swallow, Barn Swallow, Carolina 
Chickadee, Tufted Titmouse, White-breasted Nuthatch, Carolina Wren, House Wren, 
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Eastern Bluebird, Wood Thrush, American Robin, Northern 
Mockingbird, Brown Thrasher, European Starling, Cedar Waxwing, Northern 
Parula, Black-throated Green Warbler, Yellow-throated warbler, Pine Warbler, 
Black-and-White Warbler, American Redstart, Ovenbird, Louisiana Waterthrush, 
Kentucky Warbler, Commom Yellowthroat, Hooded Warbler, Yellow-breasted Chat,
