I had a Cooper's Hawk(immature female, I think) this morning in the Mulberry tree next to my house. A chickadee alerted me, indignitly, to its presence. A couple of weeks ago the hawk was in the front yard in my privet hedge attempting to catch a bird off the feeder. I live pretty close to the heart of downtown Kingsport. I actually have what I think is her brother in my freezer- found on the sidewalk with, I think, a broken neck. I'm planning to deliver it to Dr. Alsop unless anyone has any better suggestions. I've frequently seen Cooper's pursuing "rock doves" in the area and once feasting on one on the ground. --------------------------------- Any questions? Get answers on any topic at Yahoo! Answers.
