[Bristol-Birds] Chukar near Elizabethton, TN

It actually showed up in their neighbor's yard first.I opened the image they sent and noticed the bird is a Chukar. They said the bird acts tame and mostly runs across the ground. They haven't seen it fly.
A few winters ago, the Murrays hosted a Rufous Hummingbird that was banded by Mark Armstrong. I told them they have a yard that must look very attractive to some unusual birds.
Maybe they also have a neighbor who raises birds, such as Chukars?They said they didn't know of anyone in the community who does raise gamebirds.
A few years ago, I also got a call from Erwin, who also sent me a photo of what turned out to be a Chukar in her backyard on Rock Creek Road.
