[Bristol-Birds] Central sightings, Carter Co.

On Sunday morning, 23 OCT 2005, near my home on Smalling Rd. in Central
community in Carter Co. I saw my first Hermit Thrush of the season. Other spp.
present included White-throated Sparrow, Chipping Sparrow, Ruby-crowned
Kinglet, and many American Robins and Yellow-rumped Warblers.
After birding in the afternoon with Tom & JT McNeil, I was getting out of Tom's
car in my front yard at dusk when Tom saw a large owl, probably Great Horned,
fly over my brother's house. I, of course, missed it while trying not to trip
over my dog in the gloom. :-( ...the dark side of stumble birding...
