[Bristol-Birds] Brown Thrasher, etc. (Greene Co., TN)

March 20, 2008

I heard a season-first Brown Thrasher singing behind our backyard in
Greeneville this evening. (This species occurs fairly regularly in the county
in small numbers in winter; checking my records tonight, I noticed that I have
entries for it in winter in 12 of the last 15 years.)

Also present today in our yard were Purple Martin, Red-breasted Nuthatch, and
Fox Sparrow.
