High Country Audubon's monthly bird and nature walk will be this Saturday at 8 AM. Please join us for this free walk open to the public. Newcomers encouraged as we have extra binoculars. Be prepared for cold but sunny conditions. Maybe we can re-locate the NW mountains first winter record for common yellowthroat--a nice mature male. We meet at the main parking lot near the restrooms and picnic shelter, and the park is about a couple miles east of boone where 421 crosses the new river.
