I just found this photo in my file and realized that the
first time the species was photographed at Groseclose,
Smyth County, Va, was 15 June1996 by Rob Biller
and Ron Carrico. This is that first photo. They did
make another photo of the species on June 8, 1997
and it was published in the BBC newsletter "The Eagle".
The BBC newsletter is no longer published.
