[Bristol-Birds] Black-crowned Night Herons, Merlin, River Otter

This morning (11/09) around 8:00am I saw five Black-crowned Night Herons
behind Riverfront Restaurant on Netherland Inn Road in Kingsport.  There
were two birds in adult plumage and three juveniles.  This is the first time
in many years that I've seen Black-crowned's in the Kingsport area. Also had
a couple of very vocal young River Otter fussing over a freshly caught
Smallmouth Bass.  The otters were just beneath the bridge over the N. Fork
Holston River on Netherland Inn Road.  I've attached a small photo. The
Merlin was at Oak Hill Cemetery in north Kingsport yesterday (11/08) around
5pm.
