[Bristol-Birds] Birds in the Valley!

Fellow Birders,
Yesterday (24) Wallace Coffey and I did some Birding
here in, Shady Valley, Johnson County, TN.

-Our first Birding site was Plummer Rd. on the southern side of
the Valley-

We had,

One (1) Northern Parula (Parula americana)*
One (1) Ovenbird (Seiurus aurocapillus)
One (1) Hooded Warbler (Wilsonia citrina)

*When we heard the Northern Parula , Wallace and I made a deal, that the
first
person to see the Warbler would be the man of the day (I lost)!!

-Then we went to Quarry Bog on the southwestern part of the Valley-

We had,

One (1) Osprey (Pandion haliaetus)*
Two (2) Wilson's Snipe (Gallinago gallinago)
One (1) Cliff Swallow (Petrochelidon pyrrhonota)**

The Osprey and the Cliff Swallow are very good finds!!

*Osprey Status: Occasional spring and rare fall transient.
**Cliff Swallow Status: Rare transient!

                                    Happy Birding!!!!
