Bristol Area Birders:
This morning, during a drive home from Abingdon and in
a light rainfall, I checked Middlebrook Lake in eastern
Bristol, Tn. and found a Snow Goose hanging with the
Canada Geese standing atop the spillway.
Neaby was a Green-winged Teal with a few Mallards.
Five Canada Geese flew off up the lake, joined by the
Snow Goose. They went out of sight around the bend
but I don't know if they left the impoundment.
There was nothing of interest found at Musick's Campground
and the South Holston Weir Dam.
