[Bristol-Birds] BirdWatching at Duch Bottoms & Rankin in Cocke County.

Birders:( BirdWatching @ Dutch Bottoms & Rankin in Cocke County )



Today on Oct. 8, 2006 Shane and Dennis Adams have gone to birdwatching at Dutch 
Bottoms and Rankin in Cocke County we saw some birds; First at Dutch Bottoms:  
3 Semipalmated SandPipers, Great Blue Herons & Great White Egrets ( also at 
Rankin and also at Leadville side in White Pine ) Ring Billed Gulls, Black 
Tern, 3 Pied Billed Grebes, Cliff Swallows ( on the mudflats in between the 2 
silos; also possible at Rankin mixed in with Tree Swallows ), Double Crested 
Cormorants ( also at Rankin ) Second at Rankin; Vultures,( two unknown birds in 
the Willows on the right side of the road coming back from Coal Tipple and also 
left of side of the gate road going onto the gate road ), Belted Kingfisher, 
and last but not least I did not see any shorebirds on the mudflats next to 
water on both sides of the gate road enjoy the post.
