In the last few days of roaming around I have encountered the following:
Maple Gap/Cliff Mountain;
black & white warbler, hooded warbler, ovenbird, pileated woodpecker, red
bellied woodpecker
Fraley Park, BSG;
Red bellied woodpecker pair in nest in sycamore snag
Duffield VA;
kestrel with small mammal on power line spanning US23
Norton VA;
GBH
Also in the way of plants;
7 yellow lady slipper orchids (With more to come)
over 30 pink lady slipper orchids not blossoming yet (should peak just after
Mother's Day)
