[Bristol-Birds] Beginner Bird Walk Is On!

On Tuesday evening, Bill Grigsby indicated a willingness to lead the
orignally planned BBC Beginners' Bird Walk this Saturday, February 21. It will
begin
at 9 a.m. and end around 11 a.m. Meet at the Riverfront Restaurant on
Netherland Inn Road in Kingsport. This past Saturday, the following birds were
seen
(great looks) on the South Holston River and Sluice: Hooded Mergansers,
Gadwall, Mallards, Double-crested Cormorants, Great Blue Herons, American
Coots,
Canada Geese, Killdeer, Belted Kingfishers, Cooper's Hawk, Turkey Vulture,
Pileated Woodpecker, Yellow-rumped Warblers, Ruby-crowned Kinglets and more!
