[Bristol-Birds] Bald Eagle/Ross's Goose

On Tuesday, Nov. 26, Reece Jamerson, Howard Langridge and Bryan Stevens went to 
Musick's Campground, South Holston Lake, Sullivan County, TN. While there, we 
met up with Dee and John Eckler (I probably have that name spelled wrong) from 
Gray, TN.

We all enjoyed looks at an adult Bald Eagle, 2 Common Loons, 8 Horned Grebes, 1 
Eared Grebe, a small flock of Gadwalls, Ruddy Ducks and a Bufflehead. Also 
present were 2 Great Blue Herons, Bonaparte's Gulls, Ring-billed Gulls and 
Pied-bill Grebes. 

Later, Reece, Howard and Bryan went to Middlebrook Lake in Bristol around 4 
p.m. Finally! Howard and Bryan got a look at the Ross's Goose in with about 90+ 
Canada Geese. Also present were 100+ Ring-necked Ducks, 150+ Hooded Mergansers, 
40 Ring-billed Gulls, a Double-crested Cormorant, Great Blue Heron, three Black 
Ducks, assorted Mallards and two Coots. Also saw the two Mute Swans.

Dee and John had been at Middlebrook before coming to Musick's, and they had 
not found the Ross's. All I know is that this was about my seventh trip to get 
this goose, so I guess that just means you've got to keep trying!
