[Bristol-Birds] Bald Eagle-John Sevier Lake

3/28/06, noon

2nd year Bald Eagle perched on log in middle of lake - got the scope on it and
it had a fish in its talons.
Out of nowhere came an Osprey after the fish - the two scuffle a bit and the
fish is lost, Osprey flies to another tree. Bald Eagle moves to another log and
begins eating some type of bird - we could see the feathers flying as the Bald
Eagle began his meal.
The Bald Eagle remain perched for about 20 minutes preening and flew over the
house out of sight.
What a bird, what a morning! Back to the rototiller!
