[Bristol-Birds] BRISTOL BIRDS NET WILL BE DOWN TODAY

The first upgrade of hardware for the Freelist server that distributes the
Bristol-Birds mailing list will take place this this morning (Sat. 9/22)
starting at around 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. Eastern.
Since this is a somewhat complicated process, you may expect that TN-Birds list
will be out of service for a good part of the day.

It's a complicated transition and they do expect there to
be bumps along the way, but they plan to have everything operational by
mid-afternoon. During that time, of course, FreeLists' services and
Bristol-Birds net will be unavailable. The rest of the weekend will be
available to finding and
ironing out any remaining problems that crop up.

I will try to send a message to the list when it appears we are again up and
running.

Let's go birding.....
