[Bristol-Birds] BBC Meeting, Tuesday, March 21, 2006

The Bristol Bird Club had its regularly scheduled meeting last night with and excellent program on the biodiversity of fish locally and globally by Dr. Chris Fielitz from Emory & Henry.

Important announcements regarding upcoming fieldtrips:
April 22nd-23rd - Chattanooga (Standifer Gap Marsh and Brainerd Levee)
May 20th-21st - Natural Tunnel State Park Birding Weekend

PLEASE let me know if you are planning to attend either or both of these events. I will get info about motels in Chattanooga since this will be an overnight. Depending on the desires of the group, we will probably have time to hit another location in Chattanooga.

Election of officers for the coming year is to be held at the May meeting. The following were appointed as the nominating committee: Dave Worley, Larry McDaniel, Mary Erwin, Ron Harrington, Wallace Coffey, and Rack Cross.. The committee will present the slate of officers at the April meeting on the 18th. If you would like to discuss potential officers, please contact them prior to the April 11th.
