[Bristol-Birds] Another Red-neck Grebe

Today (Mon. Mar 17) about two miles north of the Galax city limits,
I found yet another Red-neck Grebe for the state of Virginia. The
bird was found along the New River associating with a pair of Mallards
and an American Wigeon, there were several Canada Geese along this
part of the New River as well. The bird was feeding heavily no more
than 50 yards away from me and I had excellent views as I watched and
studied the bird at leisure for some 30 - 45 minutes. This winters
Red-neck Grebe invasion is still continuing across the state from
the shores to the mountains.
