[Bristol-Birds] American Pipit

Area Birders,
On Sunday Ed and Michelle Talbott located a Merlin at Poplar Gap Park here
in Buchanan County. Yesterday my wife, Lynda, and I went in search of it. We
didn't have any luck with the Merlin, but we did find an American Pipit on a
large recently reclaimed open area of the park. We also saw 1 American
Robin, 2 Carolina Chickadees, 2 Dark-eyed Juncos, 6 Northern Cardinals, 1
Pileated Woodpecker, 9 Song Sparrows, and 2 White-throated Sparrows.

Merry Christmas,
Roger Mayhorn
