Hi Folks:

Total Raptors: 4623 4775
Total Species: 10 9.8
Note: We do not routinely count Red-tailed hawks because September is not
considered a prime time for their migration. Red-tailed hawks are seen but it
is difficult to determine if a particular bird is migrating or is just a local
bird hanging around. To see migrating Red-tails, visit the Mendota site from
mid-October thru November. I want to express my appreciation to those who
helped out this year. I didn't have the opportunity to take part as much as I
would normally, but I am already looking forward to next year (If the good Lord
is willing, the creek don't rise, and old Pat don't bark).
Corrections or comments are welcome.
