[Bristol-Birds] 15 minute stroll on Elizabethton's linear trail

I took a quick walk along the linear trail along the Watauga River in Elizabethton on Monday morning, Sept. 17.

The best bird was a male Wilson's Warbler foraging and offering repeated good looks in great lighting conditions. This is my first '07 sighting for a Wilson's.

Other warblers: Ovenbird, American Redstart and a young male Common Yellowthroat. Not a lot of variety, but I got great looks at all of them.

Some other birds included Gray Catbird, Indigo Buntings, Chimney Swifts and Downy Woodpecker.

Hampton, TN
