[Brickhurst Email List] Health and safety walk

Hello again.

Below is a copy of the results of Andrew and Melians walk round. Note that
the top of the site, around the entrance, is not covered.

I plan to be at Brickhurst on Thursday and Friday. Hope to see you there!

Path from kitchen to VIC: muddy particularly near dying workshop area, need
more wood slats
T-junction near kitchen: sign required to VIC and Exit
Open bender (Barney's?): pots and pans etc. out of the way, wood supports
need watching to stop bender being damaged, entrance logs etc out of way.
Circle of logs for stories: OK
Visitor Centre (VIC): back area needs to be out of bounds. Signs in all
directions. Garden area to be out of bounds and supervised.
Well and herbal medicine workshop area: wood and string dealt with, muddy
paths to well needs wood chips, beyond well needs to be out of bounds.
Path from VIC to track: muddy, needs sign at bottom.
Road: needs lots of pallets or gravel. Tidy up cardboard.
Food area: is near manure! Move food to VIC (?)
Road to well: out of bounds
Road to stream could be suitable for loos. Signs needed to loos and stream.
Sign from road to VIC, loos and science area.
Science area: needs clearing.
Second path to stream: needs wood pile clearing at road, then too stream is
muddy near stream. Needs sign for loos (if road is used).
Up other side of stream near old plants: path to left needs closing off.
glass and wood etc needs fencing.
Path from windmill: either needs signing or closing off. Lots of junk, nails
in wood, glass, etc, to deal with.
Path to kitchen from road: needs signing and lower part needs wood chips for
mud, and sign Exit, VIC.
Marquee area (behind office): may need clearing
