You can always add more additional voices s well if you are willing to buy
them.

www.nextup.com has some great selection.

Hi I have been using Victor reader for several years wit varying degrees of
success. It is quirky and reads some books well, but others not so well due,
I think, to variables in the Daisy files produced by book share.

now to address your specific questions

1. If the program is working properly hitting the space bar should turn the
speach on and off.

2. If you go to the settings menu under audio you can turn the speach on and
off.

3, If you go to settings menu under audio then tts settings you can change
the speach engine if any others are available. You will have to look.
Microsoft voices are provided with the program. I use IBN voices myself
because I have IBM home page reader and they show up as available in Victor
but I don't know about jaws.

4. You will not lose your books if you uninstal Victor reader,

Finally the most irritating and treacherous thing I have discoverd about
Victor reader is that on many books that seem to read ok it will skip to the
start of the following paragraph when a page break occurs in the middle of a
paragraph. The only way to spot this is to test each book.

I hope this helps some.

Happy reading!
