As that I don't use the program I can't tell you exactly where it is, but
I'm sure you can simply disable Victor Reader's voice without going through
the process of uninstalling it. It's in one of the menus. Then you can still
read the books using jaws.

Subject: [bookshare-discuss] victor reader program?

> Hi, I am a member of bookshare and downloaded the victor reader to my desk
top. My problem is that the internal voice speaks and I can't get it to
stop. I like the jaws voices much better. Now, If I un-install the
victor reader, will I loose all my saved books in there? Will un-installing
the victor reader also uninstall the voices so that when I re-install I can
choose not to have the voices? Andy.
