Hey Brian, this is a problem a lot of us are having and the engineers are
working on it.

Here is what works to solve the problem for me, and don't stop submitting
books!

1. Clean out your cookies folder.

Or...
2. Rename your file to less than eight characters. For example instead of
in hitler's shadow.rtf just say hitler.rtf

Also remember no punctuation in the file name.

And when there is no error it is the file name or something about it, that
causes the system to reject.

Be careful if using kurzweil 1000 to submit to save in MS word before
uploading. Bookshare things that Kurzweil generated .rtf files aren't well
.rtfs.

Hope this helps. And don't stop submitting there are work around.

Subject: [bookshare-discuss] uploading a book

Listers,
Has anyone tried to upload/submit a book to the bookshare website only to
get the error message, but no error is indicated? In other words, I'm told
there is an error, but it doesn't say what the error is -- such as too long
a synopsis, or no format indicated, so on.
This is very frustrating, and will result in my not submitting books -- too
bad as I have an aweful lot of them.
