Most of us use kurzweil or open book to scan with. There are lesser ones out
there but those two are the best.

Hi all
I finally stopped putting off the inevitable and bought a new scanner. I had
the hp officejet 5610 I got tired of printing blank pages no matter how many
times I realigned the printer heads and changed the cartriages and tried
toruble shooting. I purchased the HP 4680 I think. I don't have the
confirmagtion email in front of me and haven't received the all in one yet.
What my question is do I need aditional software to scan books and submit them
for proofing? I'd like to contribute as I am an avid a book reader as most on
here. I recently rejoined Black Expressions with the sole purpose of donating
the book.. I did not see any books by Wahida clark waiting to be scanned and I
just read one out of a series of her books which is available on bookshare.
