[bookshare-discuss] Re: numbers in books

I suspect Dan, that those are the page numbers a very essential part of the
book. Smile, particularly when someone is using the book for research
purposes.

Smile.

I suspect that is what they are, they aren't for the paragraph but for the
page.

Subject: [bookshare-discuss] numbers in books

                Hi all,
BookShare now. I have noticed and have wondered why all those numbers are
in the books. It almost looks like the scanning software used is placing
them there or something. they are sequential throughout the books but
they do not seem to be related to paragraph numbers or anything like that.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what they are for and why they are in the
books? It sure would be more pleasant not to have to hear those number
when listening to a book after converting them to MP3 files.

Thanks.
