I wish there was a way to see the new books in English also, without any
hassle of going to another site,. Cindy's lists are great but they don't
contain the synopsis which can sometime be helpful, if the powers at be
decide to enter them, that is. It always annoys me to see synopsis: None.

Hi Cindy,
thanks for bringing me up to date on the new books question.
I must confess I've been off the list for some time, but came back on just
in the past few days.
Not sure if the "power that be" monitor the list, but it really might be
useful to add a combo box to choose language in book searches and that could
include new books also.
Just a thought.
I plan to stay on the list, so your postings to the list will be a real
help.

The New Books one can access from the Browse Books on the volunteer page
show, usually a day late because of the difference between California time
and the rest of the country. So it will show whatever Gustavo put in that
day, be it English-language of Spanish-language books.
Jake has been able to get, instantly, a list of books added, and he's
divided the lists into English-language and Spanish-language. Each night I
check his list, with his permission, and post to both the bookshare and
volunteer lists the English-language books that have been added to the
collection each day that there are any. Yesterday there was only one.
In case you missed it, below is the list of books added yesterday--only
one--and the day before. If you don't check the bookshare list on a daily
basis and want me to e-mail you the list it's no extra trouble for me and
I'll be happy to.

beleive, 100 of the newest books, whereas I only post each day's additions.
