I am in the Phoenix area also, and I have noticed that if it gets over about
105 degrees it is unbearable. If I could I'd leave the area starting in mid
to late June and would not return until October but, alas, my job keeps me
here. I can't go back home since I was born here.

I too hope it does not heat up too fast, I truly hate those 110-115 days.
Guess part of it is my main mode of transportation rain or shine is a tandem
bicycle--actually we avoid riding in the rain whenever possible but 115
degree weather means we are still out there. Oddly enough, you want to keep
moving, sitting still in that heat makes it worse then moving does.

"Right now, however we are staying in the mid 70 range which is paradise.

My husband who is also a native of the area said that when he was about five
his family went to Prescott to see the snow. He says his brother, sister
and he got out of the car, walked around it a couple of times, got back in
and begged to come back home because the snow was too cold.

They just mentioned on the radio not long ago about the 2 feet of snow and I
would imaginge that van get to be like our 100 plus degree heat in the
summer i'm in the phoenix az area, and while warm weather is nice for a
while, I know I get tired of it. It is going to be around 80 this week, am
not sure what I think about that, I'd rather have it be a little cooler a bt
longer but at the same time I've been abl to sit outside in the evening and
sooner than later that won't be the case.
