you do have to have a scanner. You can also volunteer by "validating" books too. The nice advantage of this is you can get your subscription for next year for a reduced or even free. You get $2.550 per submission and $.50 for each validation. Validators, check the book for title, author, copyright, information and if it is readable and complete and has page breaks. Shelley L.
