Why is the question dumb? I assume you're asking which voice I chose. Key Note Gold.

Does that help?I'm reading with voice, because I'm using an MPower Voice Note; it reads in voice, and I listen.

This is probably a dumb question... How did you read them with
voice?
Braille Note?

I read them and didn't think they were that bad. I read them in
voice. I
enjoyed and stored every one of them I could find.

Shouldn't it be reported to the bookshare.org staff when a bunch
of books,
such as the Louis LaMour, are of poor quality? They could
determine who
validated them and maybe write a note for them to take more care.
Or write
to the submitter of the scans to do likewise.

Maybe we can BSO them and improve them.

Cindy,

I have downloaded some of these books and it looks
to me like whomever is
validating them they are hardly even looking at the
content. There are lots
of scannos and formatting issues.

I too have been rather disappointed.

I suspect that they're older and the print and
pages
may not scan well--but if they were validated
carefully they should be excellent. I wonder if
the
validator didn't change the rating. Or if no one
validated the book carefully.

I'm sorry to see that. I provided a couple of
missing
pages for one book and enjoyed it so much I read
more
of the book. I'd have been happy to validate those
books, although I don't consider myself a Western
fan,
I did enjoy reading that book and one I validated
by a
different author.

weeks of new books that have a lot of the Louis
LaMour books that most of them, are only rated
good.
I love his writing. I wonder why, it seems to
be a
kind of pattern that the majority of them are
only
given a good rating; I wonder if it is because
there
are pictures or some other kind of graphics? I
can't imagine this in a Louis LaMour book but
what
do I know!
