Using overdrive has nothing to do with going to the library except for initially getting a card. It's true I don't use BRF files because I am sighted but I have a good friend who uses BRF files to read books and I know about many of the quirks, which is why I became a Bookshare volunteer to begin with. As for what overdrive has that Bookshare does, or doesn't, I couldn't say. I can say that the overdrive audio books are recorded with real human voices and not the voices you'd listen to the bookshare daisy files with. I love to listen to audio books while I'm driving, or on break at work, or while I'm doing mundane tasks like folding laundry, and even while scanning books, so I guess that is why I love overdrive. And again, what overdrive has depends upon your own library. My overdrive account may offer more or less than another person's overdrive account. -- Jamie in Michigan Currently Reading: Greed by Robin Wasserman Earn cash for answering trivia questions every 3 hours: http://instantcashsweepstakes.com/invitations/ref_link/49497 See everything I've read this year at: www.michiganrxtech.com/books.html
