Wow, good topic. I couldn't remember the first book I downloaded, but I was
curious enough to go look. The first book I got was chicken soup for the
romantic soul, on 09/25/2009, so I'm still pretty new to bookshare, but never
turning back.

Hi, Patti, you remember the first book you downloaded from Bookshare to
read? So do I. It was Curse of the Mistwraith by Janny Wurts and I had help
doing it because it was the very first time I downloaded anything. Just because
I'm curious (and because I have nothing better to do) I wonder if fellow
booksharians recall the first book they downloaded from Bookshare. If you can
remember the title, you can mention it if you want. If you can't just say so.
Regards, Kim Friedman.

I went to see how many books I have downloaded in the last month; I
couldn't find that but I did fine an entire list of all the books I have ever
downloaded from Bookshare. I couldn't believe it, of course I didn't look at
the list, just the last page to see when I actually started downloading. To
date I have downloaded 5654 books, and the first one was downloaded in August
of 2002; it was a classic, Caddie Woodlawn by Carol Hyrie Brink.
    Amazing!
