Hi, Susan. Bookshare volunteers and staff have worked hard to make
sure that all 100 books from both ALA banned books list are added to
the collection. I think we have all but 8 of them scanned already, at
last count. You will need to be logged in while searching for them
since a few of them are flagged as adult content so young children
can't access them. Unlike other libraries, Bookshare doesn't practice
censorship in its collection. The collection is shaped by volunteers
for the most part, and any book that a person wants to read can be
added as long as a person is willing to scan it.

That's our actual sticking point because there are far more book
requests than people who can scan them. I think our wish list has over
1,000 books on it right now. So though the books aren't banned, they
just aren't available to our members. I'm glad you're submitting books
for us. Each time you do, you're removing a barrier for someone.
Thanks for your help. (smile)
