I love that book but it would be murder to validate and jaws does mutilate Elvish pronunciation. I've bought several double copies of print Tolkien books in hopes they might be scanned by the Book-share office or some volunteers. Today I bought a second copy of, Meditations on Middle-earth new writings on the worlds of J. R. R. Tolkien by Orson Scott Card, Ursula K. Le Guin, Raymond E. Feist, Terry Pratchett, Charles de Lint, George R. R. Martin and more, Karen Haber, Editor . John Howe, Illustrator. It would be an easy scan. The illustrations are whole pages with no text and probably easy to replace with blank pages. As usual, I'll be glad to mail a copy of any of my duplicates to a volunteer scanner and it'll be all right to chop and or keep the book. If there's an interest, I'll list my other Tolkien doubles, doubled so I might be the one to validate...just hoping. The Tolkien Bio from the Book-share collection is on my braille note now but I'm only up to about page 70.
