I like history when it is interesting, not dull and full of little tidbits.

So here are two history books that I found truly fascinating.

A Pocketful of History: Four-hundred years of America One Quarter At a Time

This is the book revealing the symbolism and history behind each of the fifty state quarters designs. Was a wishlist book and a good story.

Can You Trust a Tomato in january? The history behind the Groceries and Other Secrets of the Grocery Store Revealed At last.

This was just a fantastic book, there are good long synopsises with both of them. Worth a definite look. Also quite hillarious.
