Hi Patty.
Here's how I handle a new books' list.

I log on to the site and browse new books.

When I find a book I either want more information about, or want to download,
instead of pressing enter on that link I press shift enter. That opens a new
window in internet explorer and most other web browsers. That way you can do
anything you want, and when you are finished press alt+f4 to close the window.

Your new books list comes back up with your cursor at the book you were looking
at. No more having to log off then back on when you download a book.

Hope this helps.
Bob

  Subject: [bookshare-discuss] Problem With site

I have run across this before but after a couple times the problem seems to
solve itself but not this time. I download a book, save it; then, I press my
back button to get back to the new books page. It says Page has expired. Why
is this? I am asking to see the books put up on the site in the last month, so
if I go to the new books link on the page where I downloaded from I have to
select that option again. I shouldn't have to do that or have to re log onto
the site.
Can anybody give me an idea of what else to do to keep logged on and not get
kicked off just because I want to back out of the download page? Thanks,
  Patti
