I didn 't read the book, but there was a TV movie,
Ithink it was, or something on the History Channel,
with Vanessa Redgrave playing the main character (the
author, probably, as I remember it was a true story).
It was memorable. I recently came across a video in
the library that I want to see, called Bach in
Auschwitz, about the same subject.
