Hi, I'm getting a victor stream for Christmas. I bought three four gig h.c. s.d. cards from my local best buy for it in advance. It never occurred to me to inquire if they are already formatted or if I might need to do that. Oh, well, there is a tutorial this Monday night. Perhaps it will mention the subject of formatting. If not, that'll be a good question for me to ask the presenter.

Not all SD cards come through pre-formatted, so I guess this could be
considered a problem of sorts.

Some of us never have to format a SD card, I have used a 2 GB, a 4 GB and an
8 GB and have never formatted the cards and they work just fine. I would
not waste the time doing so unless I ran into major problems.

I didn't know you had to format an SD card. I've just been putting them in the stream. Yes, there are four and eight and higher gig cards. I've found
fours locally, but don't have online suggestions for you.
