Good Idea, Shelly. But since they think she's Lassie I thought why not go
along with it.

Nah, if you really want to get them, call her Dot, or Spot. Smile.

Well I have a good out now, if I really don't want to tell anybody my dog's
name I'll just say it's Lassie because that is what she has been called
anyway. Some one at Walmart saw us and called her by that name, since she
is a collie and looks like Lassie.
  So heck, why not.

Ah, most people can't remember Guinevere, and they kept messing up Judson,
calling him things like jackson, jason and the like, smile so never had
  that
    problem.

My dog is "rover" however, when people in the public are intrusive and
invading my space and privacy or just won't take "know" for an answer.

    Smile.

I like that name. It is different but it is one I could get used to.
  Names
that are different can have an advantage. People might not understand
  what
you have said when you are giving a command. You're long gone by the
time they figure it out. I don't like people to know my dog's name. I
gave her an alias. I have had people call my dog when I am trying to go
    down the street.
